We’ve all experienced fear, uncertainty, grief, amongst many other emotions this past year. Produced and directed by Francesca Avani, after 2 years of being apart, a handful of dancers from the Bridge Street Belly Dance line up came together this June to share their story of the last year and how it impacted them as artists, dancers, and humans. The group collaborated on a piece together that celebrates the joy of human connection, closeness, and deeply seeing each other – and the pain of what it was like to not have that for 2 years.
This is our story and journey of the process and of the human experience from the last year.
