Catskill’s Bridge Street Theatre, two-time winner of “Best Theatre & Performance Space” at the annual Best of Greene County Awards, is about to embark on its seventh year of production. We’re calling our 2020 Season “American Roots” – five magnificent plays exploring the American experience and all the things that connect us as a people. Since opening our doors to the public in 2014, our reputation as one of the region’s most exciting and innovative theatres has grown exponentially. So have our audiences! Not only local crowds, but critics and patrons from all over the Capitol Region, the Mid-Hudson Valley, the Berkshires, and even New York City have discovered that the work we present is definitely worth traveling to see. They’ve also encountered the charm and hospitality of our area – once they’ve visited, they want to come back!
This year, we’re trying something new at Bridge Street Theatre. We plan to create a glossy souvenir program, one that will be filled with ads for local businesses, to be distributed at all performances of the plays in our “American Roots” series and available at all the many other events at our theatre. An ad in our program will put your business front and center for everyone who walks through our doors in 2020. Your ad will also be featured on Bridge Street Theatre’s Plan-Your-Visit web page, with a recommendation that our patrons support businesses that support us, and on a Power Point loop displayed in our lobby at each and every performance.
This is a terrific way to get your business in front of an audience who are already in the area for an afternoon and night on the town, and will be looking for places to dine, to shop, and to stay!

If you would like to do more to support our work, you could serve as a Business Sponsor for our entire season. Your business’s name and logo will appear on all posters, publicity materials, and programs in the series and you receive passes to all performances at the theatre which you can distribute to your customers and friends as you wish. Or you can underwrite an individual show in the series and have your name featured for that show and again get passes for our entire season. Currently Nina Matis & Alan Gosule have signed on a Season Sponsor and Jay Lesenger is a Show Sponsor for one of our five shows. Details on the benefits are below. $5,000 – Individual Season Sponsor
Name listed on program title pages. Invitation to special events. Four complimentary tickets to all regularly scheduled performances at the theatre.
$2,500 – Show Sponsor
Business Name or Individual Names featured on the title page for the show you sponsor. Six complimentary tickets to your sponsored show and two complimentary tickets to other regularly scheduled performances at the theatre.
