Join Nancy Giles, Carmen Borgia and out of town guests for a late evening break to get your week started. Comedy and chitchat in the Speakeasy at Bridge Street Theatre.

Ukuleles Unleashed
Join us for our first show of the year live at Bridge Street Theatre for a modest collection of uke players led by singer-songwriter Carmen Borgia.

THE MOSQUITO – in the Speakeasy
Comedy, writing and creative chit chat in the Cabaret at Bridge Street Theatre, hosted by Carmen Borgia and Nancy Giles. Maybe it will be The View with no windows.
Third Monday of each month
Jan 15, Feb 19, Mar 18, Apr 15, May 20, June 17, July 15, Aug OFF, Fall TBA
8pm – setup and sound check, house opens, performers arrive by 9:45
10pm – broadcast begins
Midnight – broadcast ends
Suggested audience donation for the show – $10, includes coffee or tea.
Money to be split between guest artists, BST and WGXC
We will offer refreshments.
We have overnight accommodations for visiting artists – check with Carmen for availability.
If you want to do some stand up, read something you’ve written or discuss creative process let Carmen know and we’ll get you on the air. The room is small and I’ll mic the audience, so you can attend just to watch and still be a part of the show.
VOLUNTEER POSITIONS AVAILABLE
House manager – to look after the front of the building and let people in
Refreshments – provide and sell refreshments in the lobby (aka cabaret theater)
Video and photography – both are welcome
UKULELES UNLEASHED – in the Main Stage or the Speakeasy
Live and recorded ukulele music hosted by Carmen Borgia and John Sturman. Live ukulele music by Carmen, Ukulele Catskill and friends, DJ and interviews by John Sturman. Maybe it’ll be like the Lawrence Welk Show meets Peewee’s Playhouse?

6pm – sound check for everybody in the show

All uke group participants are welcome to drop in any time during the day.
