Lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”, MONTY PYTHON’S SPAMALOT is an outrageous musical retelling of the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, featuring musical encounters with cows, killer rabbits, wizards, beautiful showgirls, mysterious maidens, and farting Frenchmen. The 2005 Broadway production won three Tony Awards, including “Best Musical”, and was followed by two successful runs in London’s West End. Bridge Street Theatre’s third annual student summer musical, SPAMALOT is sure to delight local audiences while reminding them to “always look on the bright side of life!”
